## Abstract A compact dual‐band bandpass filter using side‐coupled octagonal split‐ring resonators (SRR) is introduced in this letter. The proposed filter employs two sets of SRRs operating at different frequencies to generate two passbands. Besides, the side‐coupled stubs provide sufficient degree
