✦ Synopsis
The high-resolution Fourier transform infrared spectrum of nitromethane has been measured to obtain the rotation-internal rotation structure of the (A)-type (\mathrm{CN}) stretching band at (917.5 \mathrm{~cm}^{-1}). For the methyl rotor (m=0) state vibration-rotation transitions have been analyzed on the basis of the rigid rotor Hamiltonian. Altogether 1414 transitions up to (J=40, K_{a}=38) are used in a least-squares fit program to obtain the center wave number and the effective rotational and centrifugal distortion constants of the upper state. For the first time, high-resolution infrared gas-phase absorption spectra of the BrNO 2 molecule were recorded using a Fourier-transform spectrometer. In this paper, the 4 bands of the 79 BrNO 2 and 81 BrNO 2 isotopomers around 1670 cm Ϫ1 are investigated. Although the spectra are highly congested,
The infrared spectrum of 28 SiH 4 between 2930 and 3300 cm Ϫ1 was recorded using the Laboratoire de Physique Mole ´culaire et Applications (LPMA.) Fourier transform spectrometer. The instrumental response function width chosen makes it possible to obtain a Doppler-limited spectrum. The observed spec
