Abstract
The four new cycloartane (=9,19‐cyclolanostane) glycosides 1–4 were isolated from the aerial parts of Thalictrum fortunei (Ranunculaceae). The structures of these new glycosides were elucidated as (3__β__,16__β__,24__S__)‐cycloartane‐3,16,24,25,30‐pentol 3,25‐di‐β‐D‐glucopyranoside (1), (3__β__,16__β__,24__S__)‐24‐(acetyloxy)cycloartane‐3,16,25,30‐tetrol 3,25‐di‐β‐D‐glucopyranoside (2), (3__β__,16__β__,24__S__)‐24‐(acetyloxy)‐3‐(β‐D‐glucopyranosyloxy)cycloartane‐16,25,30‐triol 25‐[β‐D‐glucopyranosyl‐(1→6)‐β‐D‐glucopyranoside] (3), and (3__β__,16__β__,24__S__)‐24‐(acetyloxy)‐3‐(β‐D‐glucopyranosyloxy)cycloartane‐16,25,30‐triol 25‐[β‐D‐glucopyranosyl‐(1→4)‐β‐D‐glucopyranoside] (4). The structure elucidations were accomplished by 1D‐ and 2D‐NMR methods, HR‐ESI‐MS, and hydrolysis.
