## Abstract The four new cycloartane (=9,19‐cyclolanostane) glycosides **1**–**4** were isolated from the aerial parts of __Thalictrum fortunei__ (Ranunculaceae). The structures of these new glycosides were elucidated as (3__β__,16__β__,24__S__)‐cycloartane‐3,16,24,25,30‐pentol 3,25‐di‐__β__‐D‐gluc

Four new 9,19‐cyclolanostane‐type triterpenes, 24‐O‐acetyl‐25‐anhydroshengmanol‐3‐O‐β‐D‐xylopyranoside (1), 25‐__O‐__butylcimigenol‐3‐O‐β‐D‐xylopyranoside (2), 12‐__β‐__hydrocimigenol‐3‐one (3), and 12‐__β‐__hydrocimigenol‐1‐en‐3‐one (4), together with 15 known analogues were isolated from the rhizome of Cimicifuga yunnanensis Hsiao. Their structures were determined by spectroscopic and chemical methods.
