Yttrium-Barium-Copper-Oxide ( \(\left.\mathrm{YBa}_{2} \mathrm{Cu}_{3} \mathrm{O}_{\mathrm{x}}\right)\) thin films are prepared using laser ablation. The \(<100\rangle\) orientation of the \(0.2-0.3 \mu \mathrm{m}\) thin film is controlled using both substrate temperature and deposited buffer layers
