Abstract

The hydrolytic stability of the sterically protected dichlorosilane (Mes*ο£ΏO)~2~SiCl~2~ was investigated. The resulting products have been identified by electrospray mass spectrometry and, in the case of (Mes*ο£ΏO)~2~Si(OH)~2~, the crystal structure was obtained.
