Positron lifetime spectra of some nitrodiphenyls in xylene solution have been studied in the temperature range 255-362 K. Arrhenius plots of the quenching constants show the typical maximum, in these cases generally at about 320 K. The inhibition constants decrease with increasing temperature, the a

The magnetic quenching of ortho-positronium (o-Ps) has been studied for a 0.1 M solution of nitrobenzene in isooctane (2,2,4trimethylpentane). Static magnetic fields up to 6.2 kG were applied to the solution and the lifetime of the m=O state of c-Ps was determined as a function of the field strength
