In order to considerthe possibleinfluenceof the orientationof a side chain on the peptide backbone,we have studisd the molecularstructureof four %uCO-Pro-c3Pbe-NHMe modeldipeptides, where c3Phedenotes each of the four dimtereoisomeric2,3-methanopheny lahmines,by using IR and proton NMR experiment.
