Die Synthesen von L‐erythro‐2‐Amino‐5‐hydroxy‐8‐dihydroxypropyl‐pte‐ridin und D‐threo‐2‐Amino‐6‐hydroxy‐8‐dihydroxypropyl‐pteridin werden be‐schrieben und die Eigenschaften dieser beiden Verbindungen mit denjenigen des Drosophila‐Pteridins HB, verglichen.

A method for measuring diffusion coefficients in liquids is described. The diffusing substance S is radioactively tagged. At time zero it is concentrated at the bottom o f a vessel containing the diffusion medium M. During the experiment it moves through M by diffusion towards a GEIGER-MULLER tube.
