Abstract
Fluorescent lighting screened with 26β0z. clear glass has been found not to interfere with the artificial production of rickets in chicks for assay of vitamin D~3~.
There are indications that fluorescent lighting at intensities over 100 ft.βcandles may have a detrimental effect on chick growth in some conditions.
