UV absorption spectra of i-&H, and i-C,H70Z radicals have been obtained following pulse radiolysis of Hz/&H6 and H&HdOr mixtures at a total pressure of 1 atm at room temperature. The i-C3H7 spectrum shows two absorption maxima with t( 233 nm) =89Of. 130 M-' cm-' and ~(205 nm) =780+ 120 M-' cm-', res

β¦ Synopsis
The fluorescence spectrum of i-CJH,O* radical, produced from the 193 nm laser photolysis of i-C3H70N0 in He, was measured and the electronic and vibrational assignments are made in comparison with the fluorescence excitation spectrum. The O-O band is at 27 140 cm-' or at 368.5 nm and the average CO vibrational frequency of the ground state is 960 f 20 cm-I. The fluorescence decay times were measured at various pressures of X,H,ONO. The linear least-squares plots of the decay rates against pressures of i-C,H,ONO provide the intercept with a value of ( 1.56 k 0.25) x lo6 s-l, corresponding to a collision free lifetime of 0.64 + 0.09 ps, and the slope which gives a quenching constant of (3.54+0.38)x 10-'0cm3 molecule-' s-l.

Iso-CpH,S radicals were generated by 248 nm photodissociation of i-&H,SH and laser-induced fluorescence of the A-2 transition was studied in the 395-435 nm region. A prominent series of bands in the excitation spectrum is interpreted as transitions to levels of the C-S stretching mode in the excited
n-C3H70N0 was photolyzed with 366 nm radiation at -26, -3,23,55, 88, and 120Β°C in a static system in the presence of NO, Oz, and N 2 . The quantum yields of C2H5CH0, C z H 5 0 N 0 , and CH3CH0 were measured as a function of reaction conditions. The primary photochemical act is and it proceeds with
The rate constants of the reactions of ethoxy (C 2 H 5 O), i-propoxy (i-C 3 H 7 O) and npropoxy (n-C 3 H 7 O) radicals with O 2 and NO have been measured as a function of temperature. Radicals have been generated by laser photolysis from the appropriate alkyl nitrite and have been detected by laser-
The crystal structure of Li(C 6 H 7 O 7 ) Β΄H2 O has been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffractometry. It crystallizes in the triclinic space group P 1 with Z = 2. The structure was solved by direct and Fourier methods and refined to R1 = 0.031. Some comparisons with related struc-tures are mad
