β¦ Synopsis
A novel method for detecting changes m chemxals, especially radical formation after ultraviolet (UV) lrradlatlon, was developed usmg lmlpramme as a marker of hght-sensitive materials The system consisted of a pump, an mJectlon port for the sample, an on-hne UV irradiation device and detectors for chemdummescence and electron spm resonance (ESR) Most chemicals that were chemdummescence posltlve after UV nradlatlon m this flow system were found to show spectra of free radicals by ESR spectroscopy These results suggested that the proposed on-line system may be useful for the rapld and simple detennmatlon of the stab&y and light-induced degradation of chemicals

## Abstract PVA films with various filling levels of CrF~3~ and MnCl~2~ were prepared. ESR and UV/VIS optical analysis were used to shed more light on the structural modification that occur due to filling with different levels and/or UV irradiation. The ESR analysis revealed that the spin configura
Low-level chemiluminescence is produced in a hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2 )/gallic acid/haemoprotein system with single broad peaks around 520 nm, regardless of the biological role of the haemoprotein. The free haem iron systems (haemin and haematin systems) gave a higher photon intensity (1.5 Γ 10 4
## Abstract The rearrangement of the 2βmethylβ2βphenylpropyl (or neophyl) radical **1** to the 1βmethylβ1βbenzylethyl radical **2** is observed by ESR. spectroscopy during photolysis of diβ__t__βbutylperoxide in __t__βbutylbenzene at 270β360 K. The energy of activation of the rearrangement is deter
