## Abstract The photosensitized oxygenation of the Ξ²,γ‐unsaturated ketonic sesquiterpene, davanone, is described. Treatment of davanone epoxide with an acid ion exchange resin yields a stereoisomeric mixture of the davana ethers, sesquiterpenoids containing two reduced furan rings.
