Antithamnion pectinatum (Montagne) Brauner in Athanasiadis et Tittley has been found in the Lagoon of Venice on populations of Sargassum muticum (Yendo) Fensholt and Undaria pinnatifida (Harvey) Suringar, two species recently arrived in the Lagoon. This species has been previously reported in the Me
