Fiber optic Z-cell for CZE was designed, constructed, tested and compared with on-column detection. Ten times higher sensitivity for Z-cell in comparison with on-column detection was achieved as expected from optical pathlength ratio. Linear dynamic range was b4 orders of magnitude for both cells.
