The SCC behavior of Fe-8.7A1-29.7Mn-1.04C alloy in a 20% sodium-chloride solution (100 "C) has been investigated by the slow strain rate method. The results showed that the alloy was susceptible to SCC only at the free corrosion potential and at the applied strain rate of 2.8 x lO-'/s. Application o
