✦ Synopsis
We have used the frequency-doubled output of a cw Ti:sapphire laser to observe the spectrum of an (8-\mathrm{keV} \mathrm{SiO}^{+})beam in the region (368-386 \mathrm{~nm}). Almost 1400 lines of the ((0,0),(1,0)). ((1,1),(2,1),(2,2),(3,2)), and ((3,3)) bands of the (B^{2} \Sigma^{+}-X^{2} \Sigma^{+})system have been measured, most for the first time. In addition we have made the first observation of the (B^{2} \Sigma^{+}-A^{2}) II system. measuring 66 lines of the (2. 0) (\Omega=\frac{1}{2}) sub-band.
