The near-infrared spectrum of the B 2 ⌺ ϩ -X 2 ⌺ ϩ band system of the BaI molecule, obtained from the chemiluminescent reaction Ba ϩ I 2 and also by laser-induced fluorescence (LIF), was recorded by using Fourier transform spectroscopy (FTS). The LIF spectra were obtained by using a Ti:sapphire sing

✦ Synopsis
We have completed a deperturbation analysis of a set of measurements in (\mathrm{SiO}^{+})including seven bands of the (B^{2} \Sigma^{+}-X^{2} \Sigma^{+})system, the ((2,0) \Omega=\frac{1}{2}) sub-band of the (B^{2} \Sigma^{+}-A^{2} \Pi) system, and fine structure intervals of the (v=0) level of the (X^{2} \Sigma^{+})state. The pattern of perturbations in the (B-X) system shows that the assignments of vibrational levels in the (A^{2} \Pi) state made in earlier photoelectron spectroscopy work are incorrect. Deperturbed molecular constants for the three electronic states have been derived. (c) 1995 Academic Press. Inc.

A laser excitation spectrum of the (0, 0) and (1, 1) bands of the CaF A 2 ⌸-X 2 ⌺ ϩ system was recorded. The present set of molecular constants for both A 2 ⌸ and B 2 ⌺ ϩ states represents a vast improvement in precision over previously reported values because of the larger number of line position m
High-resolution laser excitation spectra have been obtained for the 0-0, 1-1, and 0-1 bands of the B 2 + -X 2 + transition of YbCl and a rotational analysis has been performed on the 174 Yb 35 Cl and 172 Yb 35 Cl isotopomers. Comparison of the spin-rotation constant, γ , for the B 2 + state with the
The A 2 ⌸-X 2 ⌺ ϩ transition of 174 Yb 35 Cl and 172 Yb 35 Cl has been rotationally analyzed for the first time. Doppler-limited laser excitation spectroscopy with selective detection of fluorescence was used to obtain spectra of the 0 -0 and 1-0 bands with a measurement accuracy of approximately 0.
