Two combinatorial libraries of 1296 compounds each were synthesized from two sets of carboxylic acid building blocks and two diamino acid scaffolds. The library was designed to produce low-molecular-weight compounds in a soluble form, to be assayed as potential ligands for peptidergic receptors.
