β¦ Synopsis
Fast atom bombardment (FAB) combined with tandem mass spectrometry has been used to verify the amino acid sequence in Org 2766 IH-Met(0,)-Glu-His-Phe-D-Lys-PheOH) and its deuterated analogues. It is shown that FAB mass spectrometry in addition to the [M + HJ' ion yields dominantly N-terminal sequence ions and some C-terminal sequence ions. These results together permit determination of the amount of deuterium incorporated and the position of the deuterated amino acids in the peptide.

## Abstract The detailed characterization of macromolecules plays an important role for synthetic chemists to define and specify the structure and properties of the successfully synthesized polymers. The search for new characterization techniques for polymers is essential for the continuation of th
Our studies on drug disposition in chronically instrumented pregnant sheep involve simultaneous administration of the antihistamine diphenhydramine (DPHM), its deuterated analogue and their metabolites to ( [ 2H 10 ] DPHM) the mother or the fetus via various routes. Such studies require sensitive an
