A summary of measurements of cosmic radiation on February 23rd, 1956, performed in Bergen, Norway, is presented. Altogether 7 different components were studied. During the first 16 minutes of the event (03.44-04.00 GMT) the soft and hard intensities lay 350% and 89%, respectively, above their normal
