✦ Synopsis

Two standard strains and five local isolates of Saccharomyces cerevisiue all produced extracellular P-1,kglucanases in a growth-associated manner. Glucose at 2% (w/v) enhanced enzyme production up to 0.8 U ml-l. Optimum activity was at pH 5.0.
