The combination of molecular spin densities and of structural data is shown to provide a sensitive test for the fme strut-' ture splittings and principal axes of triple; spin excitons in organic ion-radical crystals, in support of weakly-perturbed molecular sites in these solids. The dipolar split lines in the ESR spectra of some TCNQ salts are investigated. It is shown that the electronelectron correlation does not estend appreciably beyond a unit cell along the TCNQ chain. it is suggested that the &polar split lines are due to excitons formed from electrons and holes in P

Using magnetic field effect measurements ofthe fluorescence of oriented phenazine-TCNQ (Ph/TCNQ) and fluorene-TCNQ (F/TCNQ) crystals as a function of excitation power and temperature. we were able to reveal the singlet depletion path St (T+T) which is thermally activated: for F/TCNQ with AE= 3226 cm
