## Abstract ## Objective To profile the messenger RNA (mRNA) expression for the 23 known genes of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), 19 genes of ADAMTS, 4 genes of tissue inhibitors of metalloproteinases (TIMPs), and ADAM genes 8, 10, 12, and 17 in normal, painful, and ruptured Achilles tendons. #

In a comprehensive immunohistochemical study of the expression of ten metalloproteinases (MMPs) and their four inhibitors (TIMPs) in 115 non-small cell lung carcinomas (NSCLCs), the ยฎndings have been correlated with the histological and clinical features of the tumours. All MMPs and TIMPs were expre
The expression of various matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) and their tissue inhibitors (TIMPs) in 88 primary bronchopulmonary cancers and in 13 neighbouring pulmonary parenchyma samples was quantified by Northern-blot analysis, and morphologically examined by in situ hybridization and immunohistoche
## Background and Objectives: The objective was to evaluate the potent role of matrix metalloproteinases(MMPs) and the tissue inhibitors of metalloproteinases(TIMPs) in processes leading to metastasis and local invasiveness of Chinese human ductal adenocarcinomas of the pancreas. We also evaluated
## Background: Matrix metalloproteinase-2 (mmp-2), which degrades the extracellular matrix or the basement membrane, has an essential role in tumor invasion and metastasis. to evaluate the roles of mmp-2, its inhibitor (tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-2 [timp-2]), and its activator (membrane-
