✦ Synopsis
have been measured for the first time. These reactive species were produced by a low-power ''abnormal'' glow discharge in a mixture of silane and oxygen. The observation of the deuterated species required the prior synthesis of SiD 4 . Anomalies in the spectrum of the parent species, measured previously, were shown to be due to a Stark splitting caused by the discharge. The fitted rotational constants were used to determine the r r m structure of silanone. The bond lengths and angles have been determined as Si|O 1.515 A ˚, Si{H 1.472 A ˚, õHSiH 112.0Њ. The precision of these results is expected to be better than 0.002 A ˚for the bond lengths and 0.2Њ for the bond angle.

## Abstract Selaginellins G (**1**) and H (**2**), two new selaginellin derivatives, were isolated from the whole plant of __Selaginella pulvinata__. Their structures were elucidated, and complete assignments of the ^1^H and ^13^C NMR spectroscopic data were achieved by 1D and 2D NMR experiments (H
By using a fast-mixing nozzle in a Fourier transform microwave spectrometer, any chemical reaction accompanying mixing of H,S and BrCl was prevented, thus allowing the observation of the prereactive complex H,S . . . BrCl. The rotational spectra of eight isotopomers of the complex were recorded. The
