✦ Synopsis
Abstract
In this paper, we experimentally investigate the time‐domain characteristics of the trapezoidal UWB antenna. The time‐domain behavior is measured by using a pulse generator and a digital‐storage oscilloscope as a function of the azimuth angle ϕ, the elevation angle θ, and the separation distance R. The signals received by UWB antenna systems are discussed. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
