## Abstract We investigated numerically and experimentally the left‐handed (LH) properties of the metamaterial based on square split‐ring resonator (SRR) pairs. The square SRR pairs metamaterial simultaneously show an electric and magnetic response to incident electromagnetic wave, and exhibit broa
