Abstract

The details of the design and development for a modern NMR pulse sequence, INADEQUATE CR, for enhanced detection of ^13^C–^13^C double‐quantum coherence in natural abundance samples are investigated. With the phase shifting capabilities available on modern NMR spectrometers, one pulse can be eliminated from the originally proposed version of INADEQUATE CR, which is important for composite pulse versions designed to cope with large off‐resonance effects. Such a compensated pulse sequence is presented. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Concepts in Magn Reson 14, 141–154, 2002.

We describe a new and powerful computer program called TRIPLE\_GRADIENT which calculates optimized pulsed field gradient sequences for specific coherence pathway selection or rejection. Sequences can be computed for gradient coils acting along one, two, or three perpendicular axes. The program is ba
