✦ Synopsis
Excess volumes of (1,2-dichloroethane or 1,2-dibromoethane + each of several isomers of butanol) have been determined from density measurements at the temperatures (298.15 \mathrm{~K}) and (313.15 \mathrm{~K}) using an Anton-Paar dersimeter. The results show that excess volumes are positive over the whole composition range for all mixtures at both temperatures.

Total vapour-pressure measurements made by a modified static method for (heptane + propan-2-ol or 2-methylpropan-1-ol or 2-methylpropan-2-ol or butan-1-ol or pentan-1-ol) at the temperature \(313.15 \mathrm{~K}\) are presented. The results have been fitted to various equations.
The densities of the mixtures (hexane or cyclohexane+propan-2-ol or butan-2-ol) at the temperatures (288.15 and 298.15) K have been measured using a vibrating-tube densitometer. Excess molar volumes V E m were calculated. The results were described by means of the ERAS model. All mixtures exhibit po
Excess molar heat capacities and excess molar volumes determined at the temperature 298.15 K are reported for binary mixtures of (propan-2-ol, or butan-2-ol, or pentan-2-ol, or pentan-3-ol, or 2-methylbutan-2-ol + n-heptane). Excess molar heat capacities show a curve with an inflection point at x (a
The excess molar enthalpies H E m have been measured for mixtures of pyrrolidin-2-one with methanol, or ethanol, or propan-1-ol, or butan-1-ol, or pentan-1-ol over the whole composition range at T = 303.15 K. The H E m values are positive for all the mixtures over the whole mole fraction range excep
