✦ Synopsis
Excess molar volumes, V m E , of N-methylacetamide (NMA) + tetrahydrofuran (THF), NMA + 2-butanone (B) and NMA + ethylacetate (EA) have been determined at the temperatures: 303.15 K, 308.15 K, 313.15 K, 318.15 K. The results have been discussed in terms of hydrogen bonding. Excess molar volumes were fitted with the Redlich-Kister equation.

Excess molar volumes, V E , measured at the temperature 313.15 K in a dilution dilatometer are reported for binary mixtures (N -methylacetamide + water), (N -methylacetamide + methanol), and for the ternary mixture (N -methylacetamide + methanol + water). The results have been analysed using various
Excess molar volumes V E m have been calculated from measured density values over the whole composition range at T = 298.15 K and atmospheric pressure for six {N -methyl-2-pyrrolidinone + 1,1-dimethylethyl methyl ether, or dipropyl ether, or 1,1-dimethylpropyl methyl ether, or diisopropyl ether, or
The densities of (1-pentanol + cyclohexane or benzene) have been measured at 15 K intervals from T = 283.15 K to T = 328.15 K for comparison with the results of (2-ethoxyethanol + cyclohexane or benzene). The excess volumes V E , excess thermal expansivities α E , and the pressure derivatives of the
