## Abstract The aging reaction of a 90 wtβ% gold, 10 wtβ% platinum alloy with nominal iron concentrations of 0.04, 0.08, and 0.16 wtβ% iron has been studied using electrical resistance measurements. The electrical resistance was measured as a function of temperature from 300 to 750Β°C. A decrease in

β¦ Synopsis
The evolution of electrical resistivity during the aging of aluminum alloy AA6111 has been measured over a wide range of annealing temperatures. From these measurements, the solubility product for the Q phase in aluminum has been proposed and using a new approach, the contribution of precipitates to the overall resistivity is quantified.
