## Abstract Rats were given near‐lethal doses of x‐ray to produce clones of hemic cells marked by radiation‐induced chromosome abnormalities. Subsequently, bone marrow from these rats was injected into lethally irradiated mice to form erythropoietic spleen colonies; and peripheral blood lymphocytes
