โฆ Synopsis
Passive radars using illuminators of opportunity have attracted much attention in the international radar community. This article presents for the first time a WiMAX passive radar demonstrator using a MIMO-OFDM testbed for moving target detection. Theoretical WiMAX signal waveform ambiguity function analysis and primary indoor moving target detection experimental results demonstrate that WiMAX signal is suitable for passive radar application, and the wideband property enables WiMAX signal much more attractive than other illumination sources, especially in range detection. ## Abstract This article presents the performance analysis of the multipleโinputโmultipleโoutput antenna systems for mobile WiMAX handset applications. To investigate the effect of changing antenna arrangements on the antenna performance, we propose four kinds of two antenna structures considering
## Abstract In this article, a novel design of printed coplanar waveguideโfed monopole antenna is proposed for tripleโband WiMAX applications. At first, we investigate the printed dualโband monopole antenna for dualโband operation with two bands of 2.37โ3.64 GHz and 5.2โ6 GHz. Since the lower band
## Abstract In this article, a dualโband multiple input multiple output (MIMO) antenna is proposed for Mobile WiMAX applications. The designed MIMO antenna consists of two planar inverted F antennas (PIFAs) and two isolators. The PIFAs have a volume of 12 ร 10 ร 4 mm^3^, which is small enough to be
## Abstract In this study, we present a novel fabrication technique of FBAR devices as a feasibility study for mobile broadband WiMAX applications. This novel technique features the formation of very thinโfilm Cr adhesion layers between W and SiO~2~ film layers in the Bragg reflectors, particularly
