## Abstract Results are presented indicating a linear relationship between irradiation dose (1–10 kGy) and the amount of 2‐dodecylcyclobutanone produced in chicken meat. After storage for 18 days at 4°C this linear relationship with dose persisted although there was a slight decrease in the concent

An enantioselective gas chromatography (GC) method has been developed and validated for determination of the enantiomers of citronellol in kinetic resolution experiments. S-(-)-beta-Citronellol is a precursor of rose oxide. After solid-phase extraction (SPE) with ethyl acetate, the enantiomers of R-
A new variant in sensory analysis which combines the advantages of profile and ranking methods is described. The profile-rank method includes two steps: 1. The selection of the most significant descriptors on the base of calculated weight factors and 2. statistical data processing and the calculatio
## Abstract A modification of our previously reported^2^ gas chromatographic method of preparing vinyl‐^14^C~2~ chloride (^14^C‐VC) has been made. The procedure using 1,2‐dichloroethane‐^14^C~2~ obtained from New England Nuclear Corporation gave good yields of ^14^C‐VC as a gas mixture with helium.
