Thermal, electrical, and optical properties of glass compositions situated along the " (\mathrm{As}{2} \mathrm{Se}{5}) " (-\mathrm{Ag}{2} \mathrm{Se}) (region I), (\mathrm{AsSe}-\mathrm{Ag}{2} \mathrm{Se}), and (\mathrm{AsSe}-\mathrm{Ag}) (region II) lines are investigated and compared. For glass compositions of region I, the glass transition temperature (\left(T_{\mathrm{g}}\right)) and the electrical conductivity ((\sigma)) are weak (\left(T_{\mathrm{g}}=\mathbf{3 7 5} \pm 5 \mathrm{~K}\right.) and (\sigma=) (2,6 \times 10^{-7} \mathrm{~cm}^{-1}) at (294 \mathrm{~K}) for a (20 %) concentration of silver). For glass compositions of region II, (T_{\mathrm{g}}) and (\sigma) are higher (\left(T_{\mathrm{g}}=420 \pm\right.) (5 \mathrm{~K}) and (\sigma=8,1 \times 10^{-6} \Omega^{-1} \mathrm{~cm}^{-1}) at (298 \mathrm{~K}) for a (20 %) concentration of silver). All the glasses investigated are high-resistivity and widegap semiconductors since their optical gap is higher than (1.4 \mathrm{eV}). With increasing (\mathrm{Ag}) content in the glasses, (T_{\mathrm{g}}) is almost constant, the optical gap decreases slightly but the electrical conductivity increases, and the activation energy decreases.
