Two monosomics of Phaseolus vulgaris (2n = 22) were found among selfed progeny of plants treated with colchicine. The monosomic chromosomes involved were identified as chromosomes H and J according to the previously suggested Giemsa karyotype. Both monosomic plants had slower growth rate and smaller
