โœฆ Synopsis

Variance components and their ratios broad-sense heritability and constancy were estimated for some quantitative traits in northwestern Spain populations of maim. Estimations were carried out at the significance levels of 5 yo and 25 yo andwithout significance limits. It can be concluded that estimation without significance limits is more efficient than the estimations at the usual level8 in the method of analysis of experimental data from fields experiments.

The most common approach to combining forecasts at different levels of aggregation has been to sum (or average) the more disaggregated forecast, and take a weighted average of the aggregate forecasts. This paper develops a simple method for obtaining minimum variance pooled forecasts at the disaggre
