โœฆ Synopsis


In the present paper, a general a$ne motion estimation algorithm using the Fourier descriptors is proposed. It is able to estimate, in addition to the translation, scaling and rotation, the stretching parameters or equivalently, the scale, the shift, and the four coe$cients of the general a$ne matrix. A modi"ed Claire test sequence will serve as a useful test to evaluate the proposed motion algorithm.
