Two new lipopeptides, amamistatins A (1) and B, were isolated from an actinomycete. The absolute stereostructure of 1 was determined by spectroscopic and chemical analyses. Amamistatins A (1) and B showed growth inhibition for human tumor cell lines.

In the process of hepatocarcinogenesis, ras has been shown to play a role. ras requires a farnesyl moiety for activation. It has been found that UCF I -C (manumycin). an antibiotic, inhi
A new 6-cell line (ONHL-I) was established from non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. ONHL-I was free from Epstein-Barr virus nuclear antigen and expressed CDZO, CD24, and slg (p, 8, y and K), thus being equivalent to the mature 6-cell stage. Chromosome analysis revealed a markedly abnormal pattern including 14q
## Background: Recent studies provide evidence that the constitutive activation of nuclear factor-kappa b, nf-kappab plays a critical role in enhancing the growth of several types of malignancies, including head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (hnscc). ## Methods: In this study, we examined the
