## Abstract Chemical investigations on the essential oil of __Lippia integrifolia__ performed by column chromatography, HPLC, GCโMS, ^1^Hโ and ^13^CโNMR spectroscopy led to the identification of 78 components. A new sesquiterpene alcohol, __trans__โafricananโ1__ฮฑ__โol (4), was characterized as a si
