β¦ Synopsis
The essential oil of Salvia Zavandulacfolia, Vahl. was investigated by a combination of the usual techniques of fractional distillation, column chromatography, capillary and preparative gas chromatography. With the aid of a home-made pressure programmer, capillary chromatographic analysis was carried out more effectively. In the analysis, a number of hitherto unreported trace constituents were isolated and identified.
