✦ Synopsis
The programme at the Annual Conferences of The Ergonomics Society appears to get increasingly comprehensive. This year there were ten main sessions, with a total of 31 papers. In addition, there was an opening address by Prof A.J. Willcocks, Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University of Nottingham, six parallel sessions, a film produced for the Admiralty as an introduction to ergonomics, and the Society Lecture. Fortunately there were some 180 delegates which ensured a good attendance at all sessions.
