โฆ Synopsis
The anomalous change of EPR parameters of half-filled 3d ions in various compounds with the eovalency pnramctor is discussed in view of the recentiy proposed ionic-covalent transition. It is pointed out that the pnrmeters g, a and D are sensitive to the long-range interaction bringing up the transition, whereas A reflects the local otuster bonding properties.
