✦ Synopsis

Abstract

Intussusception secondary to metastatic sarcoma is an unusual cause of small bowel obstruction. When a patient who has no history of a previous laparotomy, and has a known malignancy which metastasized hematoge‐nously, presents with small bowel obstruction, the diagnosis of intussusception should be considered. The patient should be evaluated and treated accordingly. Β© 1993 Wiley‐Liss, Inc.
