Julia sets of p-adic polynomials and periodic points)

An open problem in the iteration theory of p-adic rational functions R is the existence, when the Julia set J(R) is not empty, of an repulsive periodic point for R.

In this paper, we give a partial positive answer to this question, in the case of a polynomial P, and with some conditions on P.
