Emission of XeP( B, C) excimers was observed when XeF, was added to active nitrogen. This indicates XeP formation in the process of dissociative electronic energy transfer from NT to XeFI: N: + XeF 1 \*XeF\*+ N2 + F. The termolecular rate constant for XeF encitation in active nitrogen has been measu
