✦ Synopsis

The ener_q transfer betuecn rhodamine-6G and 3,3*-diethyithiacarbocyanine iodide was studied in aqueous solutions of sodium Iauryl sulfate. A highly enhanced enegy transfer was observed at very low d) e concentrations in the premicellar regicm. This effect can be explained in terms of the formation of dye-rich miwd micelles.
