The addition-fragmentation reactions of phenyl-substituted enol radical cations, C6H5C(OH)CHR+' (R = H, CH,), with alkenes were studied by Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance spectroscopy. These reactions (involving both labelled and unlabelled reactants) were compared with the unimolecular re
