Rats were fed a diet containing lithium which maintained their serum lithium levels between 0.3--0.9 mEq/1 for one week prior to behavioral tests. The activity, reactivity, and endurance of the rats was measured in the open field, activity wheel, Skinner box, jiggle cage and swim-to-exhaustion tests
