Typical Copolymerisation. A mixture of [Pd(OAc),] (0.06 mmol), dicyclohexyl{(R)-1 -[(S)-2-(diphenylphosphino)ferrocenyl]ethyl}phosphine (Za; 0.07 mmol), Ni(CIO,), . 6H20 (0.3 mmol), and naphtho-l,rl-quinone (3.0 rnmol) in 151.5 ml of THF, 8.5 rnl of MeOH, and 2.0 ml of CH(OMe), was introduced under N, in a 500-ml stainless-steel rocking autoclave. Then 39 g of propene was introduced under cooling at -6OO. After heating at 50", CO was pressurized up to 80 bar. The autoclave was kept at 50" for 5 h under stirring. After cooling to r.t. and releasing the unreacted gases, the suspension was added to 500 ml of cold MeOH and left at 4 O for 24 h. The copolymer was filtered, washed with MeOH, and dried: 19 g of copolymer. Productivity: 595 g.g[Pd]-l,h-'. M , 5900 (IH-NMR).
